Beauty Diet: healthy way to achieve beauty

Beauty diet has got the foremost importance in preserving and enhancing the beauty. A beauty diet is the ideal and balanced diet, which is commonly advised for healthy living. It is the combination of sufficient quantities of all the essential nutrients required for healthy and beautiful body. A balanced diet even slows down the aging process besides retaining beauty. You can look prettier by choosing right food. You should know what to put in your plate for shiner hair, smoother skin and brighter smile.

Let us see what kind of food items we should include in our diet.

Vitamin A: 
For the protection of eyes, shining hair and glowing skin, Vitamin A is necessary. To slow the process of wrinkle formation, Vitamin A plays vital role. To prevent various kinds of skin infections, dryness of skin and dandruff formation, one should regularly take vitamin A rich diet. It also increases the blood circulation.  

Vitamin B: 
For getting lustrous tresses, you need a daily dose of vitamin B. You can obtain this vitamin from many food products like green vegetables, milk, eggs and chicken.

Vitamin C:
Vitamin C has important role in beauty diet. Taken along with protein, Vitamin C helps in producing collagen. Collagen is the natural adhesive, which holds the skin together and prevents from sagging and wrinkles.  It prevents skin from drying, formation of facial lines, hair tangling and breaking. Amla and kiwi fruit are good source of vitamin C. Oranges, mango, honeydew and papaya are some common sources of vitamin C.

Vitamin E:
Most important beauty vitamin is Vitamin E. It prevents the formation of wrinkles on skin and slows down the aging of skin. Also forming of age spots, lackluster skin and falling of hair is prevented. Peaches and blueberries are known to have quite large amounts of vitamin E. 

Water: Water should be taken in plenty. One should drink 8-10 glasses of water daily to keep body moisturized. It helps in detoxification of the body and keeps the blood clean. Formation of pimples is also reduced to great extent.

Proteins:
Besides various vitamins, protein is needed in desired quantities   to strengthen and moisturizing the nails. Proteins build keratin, a substance that is needed to form the nails. As protein cannot be absorbed by the epidermis and hence cannot seep into inner tissues, proteins have to be the part of your daily diet.  You can get protein from various food items like beans, cheese, fish, boneless chicken breast and many more.

Minerals:
Silica is an important mineral to preserve the elasticity of hair and is needed in sufficient quantity. It can be replenished from bean sprouts, onions, and raw oats, cucumber skin. Zinc is another mineral, which helps in getting rid of pimples. You can get it from milk, eggs, seafood etc. And Calcium needs no introduction; it is well known as mineral forming bones and teeth. Besides that, it also gives flawless skin with less of wrinkles and pimples. You can get it from common food items like low fat cheese, milk, yogurt etc. Iron is yet another mineral needed to keep your under eyes free from dark circles which is caused by anemia (lack of iron).

Almonds:
These are the nuts with stores of vitamin E. It has anti-aging effects. It helps in keeping the skin supple because of large amounts of fatty acids. Antioxidant selenium is also there in Almonds. Although almonds are good for beauty but do not over eat them, as they tend to increase calories.

Tomatoes, Apples and Celery: 
You can eat tomatoes in any form as they contain beta-carotene, vitamin C, and lycopene that are antioxidants, which fight skin cancer. You should eat apples and celery to make your teeth stain-free.

Balanced beauty Diet: It is advisable to include all these food items in your daily food but in a balanced way.

- Keep track of what you are eating through out the day.
- You can plan your meals depending upon your calorie needs.
- Check your pattern and your likes and dislikes.
- Do not deprive yourself but let you have some food indulgences. It helps in keeping your diet plan on track.
 - Eat slowly, taking about 20 minutes to eat one meal. Have small meals at frequent intervals rather having a one big meal.
