While choosing fake eyelashes, choose lashes with soft hair, which are neither thin nor too thick for a natural look. Also see that hair are flexible and lashes have clear base so that they cannot be noticed when applied. You should use a mineral based makeup remover for removing eyelashes.
Applying Mascara for attractive Eyelashes
- Select right kind of mascara for you. You can get water-based mascara or waterproof mascara. Market is replete with good quality mascara. Water based mascara spreads easily and can be removed easily. Waterproof mascara is best if you are going to swim, or in rain or even crying. This mascara does not come out with water. It has to be removed with an eye makeup remover. Also, this mascara does not get infected with bacteria if kept for long too.
- Go for thickening mascara, if you want to add volume to your lashes. Choose for lengthening mascara, if you want to make your lashes longer. There is a curling mascara to give a curled look to eyes.
- Dip mascara wand in the pack and wipe off extra color on the tissue paper. Now apply it in one full stroke from the base to the tip of eyelashes. Hold the brush horizontal to upper eyelash while hold it vertically while applying it on lower eyelash. Apply mascara at the corner and tip of the lashes.
- For more thickening, apply a base coat by clear mascara. After it gets completely dry, apply colored mascara.
- You can apply conditioner at eyelashes just before applying mascara for better shine.

Curling Eyelashes
If you are born with straight eyelashes, you can curl your lashes for beautiful look. Follow these steps.
- First apply eyeliner and eye shadow and let it dry.
- After drying of makeup start curling lashes.
- Put upper lashes in the mouth of open curler.
- Make sure to bring it to the base of lashes, close to the eyes.
- Do not clutch the eye skin.
- Slightly close the curler with eyes open.
Taking care of Eyelash for healthy Glow
- Remove eye makeup before going to bed.
- Apply castor oil to lashes every night before going to the bed.

- You can also apply, a mix of glycerin and castor oil daily at night for thickening of eyelashes.
