Fake Eyebrow: Right Selection and Application
Eyebrows on the face, work as the frame to the eyes. They give shape to the eyes and define them. They are the most articulate feature of eyes as eyes speak through eyebrows. Shape and curves of the eyebrow convey all the inner feelings of the person. Most of the people are blessed with right kind of eyebrows. - You can use this method if you have bald patches due to any reason or temporary hair loss.
- While choosing for makeup of eyebrows, go for eyebrow pencils, which are smudge-free, and the sharpest possible.
- You will have to draw fine lines like hair to give illusion of real hair.
- Protect these lines from smudging.
Using fake eyebrows made from human hair:
Sometimes drawing eyebrows with makeup does not give satisfactory and desired results.
- It is time consuming and has to be reapplied every time.
- It may smudge or run.
- Depth and texture of real hair is lacking in makeup drawn eyebrows.

How to choose Fake Eyebrows:
For choosing the best fake eyebrows for yourself, see to the following factors.
Color of Brow: For a natural look, select a brow having a blend of different shades. It accentuates the depth and texture of hair. Usually brows are a shade darker or lighter than the hair on scalp.
Color of the Eyebrow Base: color of the thin base, over which the hair is set to form eyebrow, should match skin tone of the wearer. If you are using brow with clear base, it should not be shiny to be noticed.
Shape of the brow: Fake eyebrow should have proper shape. It should match the eyebrow bone and in alignment with nose and eyelid. It should not be too sharp or over curvy otherwise it will not enhance the features of the face instead will draw attention to itself.
Adhesive for attachment: You can go for eyebrow with sticking back or you can get specialized adhesive for applying the eyebrow. These are chemical based and to avoid allergic reaction, you should know its contents.
Flexibility: Fake eyebrow should not be hard or stiff. It should be flexible enough to move with other facial expression to give natural look.
Taking care of Fake Eyebrows:
Like natural eyebrows, fake eyebrows should be taken care of properly to give best results. It can last for weeks if kept properly.
- While applying, make sure, there is symmetry and proper space between both brows.
- After applying glue, allow it to set for 10-60 minutes according to the quality of glue. Avoid touching it again and again.
- Avoid readjusting them.
- You can adjust or trim brows according to your shape and size before applying it. Do not shape it after applying it on the skin. .
- Do not thread, pluck or tweeze eyebrows as it can damage the fake eyebrows.
- You should remove it carefully and can reuse it.
