Eyebrow Tweezing: Easiest way to maintain the shape of Eyebrows

Eyebrows Tweezing is the most common method to give shape to eyebrows. Eyebrows work as the frame to eyes. They help eyes to express their expressions. Eyes get definite shape with the help of eyebrows. To enhance the look of eyes and overall face, eyebrows should be given proper shape by removing unwanted hair. By judging shape of eyebrows, one can judge your personality. Eyebrow tweezing removes hair from eyebrows by plucking them with the help of tweezers. Eyebrow tweezing gives shape to your eyes without any surgery or makeup.
Eyebrow tweezing is better then eyebrow waxing as there is no fear of getting hurt. If you go for eyebrow waxing, hot wax can cause burning, peeling or wrinkling of the skin. It may cause irritation to skin. While eyebrow tweezing is safe method and does not use any chemical. The only thing is that you have to bear the pain from pulling of hair. Another thing is sometimes the spot from where hair is pulled becomes red, which heals itself after few minutes.

Eyebrow tweezing is a technique, which needs practice and perfection to get the best results. Tweezing involves sharp and rapid movements to remove hair causing the least possible pain. The most important thing while tweezing is to remove one hair at a time. Do it for both brows alternately to keep the symmetry. This also prevents you from tweezing more hair than needed. All of this helps you to have a more balanced look.

Types of Tweezers: For efficiently removing hair from eyebrows, you need good quality tweezers as cheap quality tweezers can have pinching edges and pitted faces. They are also made up of soft metal, which gets quickly blunt which makes it difficult to grip hair. All of these reasons slow down the tweezing procedure.

There are many types of tweezers available. You have to decide the right one for yourself.

- Tweezers with blunt, angled or pointed Tips: Tweezers with blunt tips pull out too much hair at one tome. Tweezers with angled and pointed tips provide greater control as you can grip single hair with firm grip.
- Tweezers with magnifying lens: This kind of tweezers is helpful with light colored and fine hair, which is not otherwise clearly visible.
- Tweezers with Variable Tension: There are tweezers, which require different pressure for closing. There are tweezers, which are difficult to close, and others require lesser force.
- Grip should be comfortable and non-slippery to avoid any beauty mishap.
Handle Length: Length of the tweezers should be such that it can be hold firmly in hand. There are, smaller fingertip models, also available.

Tips for Eyebrow Tweezing:   Eyebrow Tweezing is not a difficult procedure, if you take care of few precautions and tips.

- While choosing for eyebrow tweezing, first step is to select a good set of tweezers.
- Before Eyebrow tweezing, use a white eyeliner pencil to clearly mark the shape of eyebrow.
- Eyebrows should not be far apart. Carefully determine beginning, middle and end of the eyebrows. Hairs, which lie out of that marked shape, should be tweezed out.
- Make sure that area is well lit so that fine hairs are clearly visible.
- Wash your face before tweezing or moist it with a damp cloth. Best time to tweeze is after shower. One advantage of this is that it cleans the brow area for any greasiness and also it is easy to pluck out hair when wet. Another advantage is that it loosens the hair follicles.
- You can apply ice also on that area as it works as anesthesia and you will feel less pain.
- Grip one hair at time and avoid pulling too much hair at one time, as it will not result in desired shape.
- Remove hair in direction of growth.
- Pluck out hair in rapid and sharp moves.
- Do not be tempted to remove more hair, as it will result in thinner shape of eyebrow.
- To find natural arc, brush the eyebrows in upward direction.
- First pluck the hair under the brow, then from the center of the brow and then from the end of the brow.
- After eyebrow tweezing is done, apply cool tea bags to soothe any redness occurred.
- Do not drop the tweezers as it will spoil the alignment of its arms and will reduce its effectiveness.
- Always disinfect the tweezers after use with alcohol and keep it away from any dust.
