False eyelashes are makeup accessories for enhancing the beauty of eyes. Eyes are the most attractive facial feature. When you look at anybody’s face, you first look at her eyes. Steps to Apply False Eyelashes
No one will be able to recognize false eyelashes if you know to apply them properly.
* False eyelashes, you have bought, may be wider than your eyes. In that case, use small trimmers to trim them lash-by-lash to give them proper size. It will give more natural look to false eyelashes. Trim lashes to slightly varying lengths, keeping them longer towards the outer corner of eye.
* To apply glue on the fase eyelash, squeeze the glue on back of your hand. Spread the eyelash on it and wipe away the extra glue to avoid it from dripping.
* Now using a set of tweezers, pick up the lashes and keep it close to the natural lash line.
* Press the eyelashes for few seconds from end to end to adhere it completely. Let the glue dry completely so that when you remove your fingers from lash, it should not come awy with it.
* To merge false eyelashes with your natural lashes, apply mascara. Mascara should be applied after curling the lashes.
* You can apply eyeliner to fill the space between false eyelashes and natural eyelashes.
Useful Tips to apply False Eyelashes
- To reuse the lashes, they should be properly cared.
- To protect their original shape, store them in their original packaging.
- Never go to bed with false eyelashes on your eyes.
- To remove the false eyelashes, you should use special remover, provided with lashes. Another way is to loosen the glue with the help of warm water and a cloth. Use of petrolium jelly is also benficial.
- Take care not to pull the false eyelashes too hard as doing so may pull your natural lashes also.
- You can get a black glue to stick false eyelashes as it will look like a eyeliner.
- Wipe away extra glue to avoid formation of clumps in your eyes and also, more glue will take longer to get dried.
- Use pointed tip, like in a pin, to apply a fine line of glue on the eyelash.
- Use tweezers to hold the false eyelashes properly and for doing fine adjustments.
- Keep false eyelashes to the nearest possible to the natural lash line to give it a natural look.
Precautions While Applying False Eyelashes :
There are few precautions to be followed while using false eyelashes to get the best results. Use minimum possible glue to stick eyelashes to avoid any mishap. To avoid any infection, prevent the false eyelashes from getting contaminated. Always clean the eyelashes, tweezers and other things after use. Keep them at proper place. Wash your false eyelashes with eyelash-cleaning solution or little water and let them dry properly before storing them away. Avoid using anybody else’s false eyelashes. If you have to use them, sanitize them before using. If false eyelashes have glitter on them, it can get into eyes. If eyelash glue spills into your eyes, immediately take off the false eyelashes and wash eyes. To apply them again, dry them properly before use.
