Homemade Hair Conditioners: For That extra sheen and nourishment
Hair needs regular care to preserve strength and luster. Hair conditioning is important part of hair care. It helps hair to be smooth and manageable. First, you will cut on cost, as homemade hair conditioners are just inexpensive. Secondly, homemade hair conditioners are very safe and have no side effect even on long-term use. There is no use of chemicals in them.
Homemade Hair Conditioners Recipes:
Egg and Avocado Hair Conditioner
Take 1 cup of Avocado paste and add to it yolk of two eggs. Beat the mixture and apply to hair. After half an hour, wash it off.
Jojoba Oil Hair Conditioner
Take one tsp of jojoba Oil and add it to one-cup warm beer. Mix it well and massage into the scalp thoroughly.
Hair conditioner with all components
To get instant bounce and shine in hair, prepare a magic homemade hair conditioner by following method. Take one teaspoon each of castor oil, shampoo, amla oil, malt vinegar and glycerin. Blend them all and apply this mixture gently into your scalp and hair. After 20 minutes wash it off with lukewarm water. Castor oil provides volume to the hair. Amla oil gives nourishment. Vinegar is used to restore the PH balance. Glycerin is a moisturizer. Shampoo cleans the hair.
Sunflower Hair Conditioner
This Homemade hair Conditioner can be used for deep conditioning of hair and providing nourishment. Take 1 cup of sunflower oil and wheat germ oil each. Blend both oils and heat it a little. Apply before bedtime and wash with lukewarm water and for a last rinse add one tbsp of lemon juice to the water.
Onion and cabbage Hair Conditioner
Grate some cabbage and few onions and leave in a copper pan overnight. Mix few drops of eau-de-cologne to remove smell and few drops of any herbal oil in the morning. Massage this mixture gently into the scalp and wash it mild shampoo after half an hour. This conditioner is best for getting superb shine.
Avocado and coconut oil conditioner
Peel and mash one avocado. Add to it coconut milk and blend till smooth. Apply this mixture to hair and wash after one hour.
Conditioners Prepared from Henna: Henna forms base for effective homemade hair conditioner
Henna Conditioner for Dry hair
Take enough henna for your hair, add to it one tbsp of oil, and warm milk to mix it well. Apply it on hair and wash after 20 minutes.
Henna conditioner for Oily hair
Take henna, enough for your hair. Add to it 2 tbsp of curd and a pinch of sugar. Mix water to mix it well. Apply it into the scalp and after twenty minutes wash it off.
Honey Conditioner
Honey is a good option for preparing a homemade hair conditioner. Take ½ cup of honey and ¼ cup of olive oil. Mix it well and apply it evenly through all the hair. Cover your hair with a shower cap and after one-hour wash with shampoo.
Egg and Olive Oil Conditioner
Take one whole egg, ¼ cup olive oil and ¼ cup of mayonnaise. Mix all the ingredients well. Add to it few drops of herbal essential oil like lavender oil. Apply this mixture and massage gently. You can cover it with shower cap. After 20 minutes, wash it with shampoo. This is an effective homemade hair conditioner for deep conditioning of hair.
Banana homemade Hair Conditioner
Take one banana and mash it. Add to it ½ cup honey. Blend it well to make it a paste. Wet your hair and apply this mixture into your scalp. You can use this twice a week for the best results.
