How to Apply Nail Polish

People often do not pay much attention to the details and end up with messy nails. While applying nail polish, keep in mind certain methods. Applying nail polish, does not mean just painting of nails; it is making the nails attractive.
The first step before the application of nail polish is to remove old nail polish off your nails. Nail Polish remover does not only remove the nail polish but also removes the grease from the nails and this way nail polish can stay longer. But be sure to use the remover with built-in moisturizer. You can use it once or twice a week followed by nail polish. Moisturizing is must for keeping nails healthy. After using remover, clean your hands properly and you can use cream too on hands but not on the nails when you are going to apply nail polish.
Follow some tricks and tips to get the nail polish stay longer. The best way to apply nail polish in three straight stokes, one down on each side and on e down in the middle.
- After cleaning of nails with remover, apply single and thin coat of base coat first.
- Let it dry for sometimes and then apply nail polish color in the center of the nail from the base to the tip.
- Then make one stroke from the base of the nail to the top end of the nail without touching skin.
- In the same way, do it for other side of the nail.
- Use a tissue to wipe across the tip of polished nail.
- Apply second coat of the nail color to have the desired effect only after first coat dries up completely. Do not touch it with finger to check it.
- After all this, use light but quick strokes to apply enamel.
Tips to get perfect Application of nail Polish
- To get French Manicure, use white pencil beneath the nail tip instead of applying white nail Polish.
- Weekly massage of hands is must improve nail health.
- Dip freshly painted nails in ice-cold water for about 15 minutes. It will make enamel stay longer.
- Do not file your nails on the corners as they become weak and brittle by filing.
- For the nails, which are damaged, to the extent that cannot be covered by nail polish, better keep them clean by applying remover.
- You can get different patterns done on the nails, by you or by nail polish artist to give them fashionable and funky look.
- Allow the nails to dry for at least 40 minutes.
