Normal Skin: Care Tips

Normal skin is the best and the easiest skin to handle. You can recognize normal skin by its smooth texture. It is soft, supple and has even tone. The normal skin is firm in touch and reasonably elastic. Normal skin has small or medium sized pores. Normal skin is neither too dry nor oily to feel. Normal skin has good circulation of blood in it. Normal skin looks healthy and glowing. Most of the skin care products suit this skin.  There are not such skin problems in normal skin like acne or blackheads. To maintain its health and glow, you have to take proper care. Normal skin needs care to avoid premature aging and wrinkles.

Care for Normal Skin: Like all other skin types, normal skin too needs proper care regime, which includes cleansing, toning and moisturizing.
Cleansing of Normal Skin: You should wash your skin with mild baby soap and lukewarm water only twice a day. You can use cleansers containing less oil content. Raw milk is the best and the cheapest cleanser. Dip cotton in raw milk and apply on face and neck. Remove all the makeup before going to bed at night with a makeup remover.

Toning: After cleansing, apply a toner to refresh the skin. You can use mild toner like rose water. It removes the traces of cleanser and dirt and also tightens the skin pores. Avoid using alcohol-based astringents as they are drying effect over the skin.

Moisturizing:  Apply moisturizer after cleansing and toning. Moisturizer helps to trap the moisture of skin and replaces the lost moisture back to the skin. Apply nourishing creams containing vitamins A, C and E.

Sun Protection: Normal skin also gets harmed by the harsh sunrays. Always apply sunscreen with minimum SPF 15, whenever you go out in sun.

Diet for Normal Skin: To have normal skin is a boon. All you have to do is to maintain its look by proper care. Eat fresh fruits, green vegetables, which provide your skin with many vitamins and minerals. Eat whole grain foods, nuts that give vitamin A, C and Vitamin E. It is essential to keep skin blemish free. Drink lot of pure water to keep the skin hydrated. Exercising is also very important to have healthy skin. It increases the blood circulation and oxygen level in skin.

Applying facemask for Normal Skin:
Apply facemask for normal skin once a week to increase blood circulation and feed your skin with essential nutrients. Try honey facial mask once a week for glowing normal skin. Dip a washcloth in hot water and place over your face. It will open the pores. Apply honey all over the face and neck and leave for 25 minutes. Wash with warm water, followed by cold water.

Fuller’s earth Facial Mask: Take 1 tbsp. fuller’s earth, one tbsp. Mashed papaya and one tbsp honey. Mix all the ingredients and apply the mixture on your skin. After 20 minutes, wash it off with warm water.

Prepare banana Facial cream for normal skin. Mash ¼ banana and beat to make creamy stuff. Apply over your neck and face. Wash it off after 20 minutes. It is good anti-wrinkle treatment.

To prepare fruit mask, take ¼ peach, 2 strawberries, and ¼ cup mashed papaya, 1 tsp. Honey and one tbsp oatmeal. Boil peach and mash. Mash all other fruits and mix them with oatmeal top make paste. Apply it over your skin for sometime. It will give your skin a hydrated glow by removing dead cells.
 
Some Care tips for normal Skin: Normal skin is the easiest type of skin. But you have to take care and follow some precautions to maintain its texture.
 
- Do not smoke as smoking leads to premature aging of skin.
- Do not over expose your skin to sun rays. Sunrays damage your skin by wrinkles, liver spots and skin cancer.
- Avoid touching your face repeatedly as it transfers bacteria to your skin and is a cause of acne.
- Avoid using soaps; rather use a fragrance free mild cleanser for normal skin.
- Without ignorance wash your face twice a day, once in the morning and then at night before going to bed.
- Do not forget to remove makeup at night before going to sleep because at night skin needs space to breath and rejuvenate it.
- Make it a point to exfoliate your skin once a week to remove dead cells.
