Dandruff- How to Cure It

Dandruff is a common hair problem and most of us get worried at its very sight. It not only looks bad, but also doesn’t let nutrients, like oil and sunlight, get into the scalp. Before proceeding to its remedy, let’s understand what dandruff is. To start with, dandruff is the excessive flaking of dead skin cells. Like rest of our skin, our scalp too, sheds dead skin cells during the renewal process of cells. The appearance of dandruff doesn’t mean that person is taking bad care of hair.

Dandruff Cure

Mix 2 teaspoons pure vinegar in 6 teaspoons water and apply it on the scalp before going to bed. Tie a towel around the head. Wash your head next morning. After shampooing, rinse again with vinegar water. Treat your hair like this once a week for at least three months.

Mix 1 teaspoons lemon juice with 2 teaspoons vinegar and massage on the scalp. Wash your hair with an egg shampoo.

It has been established that a fault diet can trigger dandruff or even cause the condition to flare up. Follow the suggestions given below:

Make sure you eat at least one fruit and raw salad everyday (cabbage, cuccumber, tomato, radish, etc.).

Eat one leafy green vegetable everyday. It contains a lot of vitamins and minerals especially vitamin A - which is excellent for your scalp.

Yogurt is a wonderful food for your hair dandruff cure.

Fried foods should be avoided. Reduce intake of fats, dairy products, sugars, chocolate, seafood, and peanuts. Increase green leafy vegetables and raw foods. Eat a whole foods diet.

Include biotin in your diet. Biotin is a water-soluble B vitamin that helps to break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Food sources of biotin include brewer’s yeast, nutritional yeast, whole grains, nuts, egg yolks, sardines, liver, cauliflower, bananas, and mushrooms.

10-15 minutes before you wash your hair, rub a lot of aloe vera gel into your scalp. Leave it on for 10 minutes, and shampoo your hair like you regularly do. Doing this everyday will keep your dandruff cure.

A cure for Dandruff is Witch Hazel. Soak cotton ball with the hazel and dab it on your head. Or you can wash your hair with witch hazel. Either way works just fine. Do this for about a week and you’ll be dandruff free. Do it once every 3 days.

Boil the water and soak rosemary leaves in it. Let it stand for one night. Strain and add vinegar to it. After shampooing, wash your hair with this preparation. It treats the hair very fast. Make sure you eat lots of greens and take vitamin E and B complex supplements. Biotin in your diet is very important and is considered an important anti-dandruff compound. Eat foods rich in biotin soybeans, oats, barley, corn, garlic, avocado,ginseng.
