However, if you still have problems, many people recommend using baby oil or baby shampoo to clean makeup off your eyes. It is very gentle and doesn’t sting or burn. Just dab some over the makeup then rinse well with water. However, when cleansing makeup from your eyes, you should always be gentle, especially as the area of skin underneath your eyes is very delicate.
There are many different ways to remove stains from cosmetics. Mineral oil is best for removing make up. It is even cheaper than baby oil. Eye makeup that is very stubborn requires a solvent and removes mascara gently and can easily rinse off. Use sweet almond oil. It works great and is very cheap and good for the skin too. Launder or dry clean per care label instructions. Be warned, though - hair dye is one of the toughest stains to remove.
