Eye Shadow’s primary purpose is to enhance the eye’s shape. Apply eyeshadow to add simple definition or to make a strong impact, depending on your choice of colour. There are two basic ways to apply eye shadow in shape shading, “rounded” and “winged. Use a small, more pointed eyeshadow brush to run the slightly darker shade of the main color in a thin line along the socket line, working from the inside corner outward. Eye shadows come in in several textures, powders (compacts), pencils, and creams. Powder can be used either dry or wet and it’s really easy to control. Pencils are fairly easy to use and Creams tend to be hard to control. A dark tone makes an area recede, while a light or bright shade will bring an area forward.
